About:  My wife, Jodie, and I have one child, Sydney. I am a 1984 graduate of Newburg United. I took my first teaching position in 1989 in Westhope.  I taught mathematics. In 1995, I was hired as Secondary Principal/Teacher at Newburg United.  In 1998, I became the Superintendent/Secondary Principal at Newburg United. In 2005 I became the Superintendent at the Bottineau Public Schools. I enjoy attending Bottineau Public School activities, spending time with my family and ice fishing.

Dear Patrons, Hopefully everyone has had a fun filled summer and everything is going well. With August comes the time of year for schools to be starting throughout North Dakota and hopefully everyone is ready for the new year to begin. As usual the schools are busy all summer getting renovation, remodeling and basic cleaning needs completed so that the school is ready when our students return. Dear Patrons, The 2016-2017 school year is quickly coming to an end. I am not sure where the year went. Each year seems to go by a little faster. I guess this is a sign of age. I would like to remind everyone graduation is scheduled to be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, May 28th in the high school gymnasium. The 2017-2018 school year will begin on Wednesday, August 23 and Thursday, August 24th with Teacher Inservice. The first day of school will be Monday, August 28th.
