About:  My wife, Jodie, and I have one child, Sydney. I am a 1984 graduate of Newburg United. I took my first teaching position in 1989 in Westhope.  I taught mathematics. In 1995, I was hired as Secondary Principal/Teacher at Newburg United.  In 1998, I became the Superintendent/Secondary Principal at Newburg United. In 2005 I became the Superintendent at the Bottineau Public Schools. I enjoy attending Bottineau Public School activities, spending time with my family and ice fishing.

Storm Make Up Days

I am writing this letter in regards to the storm make up days.  Currently, the district has missed four days of school.  These days will need to be made up and will not be forgiven or waived by Governor Burgum.  I received correspondence from the state last Friday, February 17.  The correspondence I received stated Governor Burgum’s position at this time is not to support waiving any storm days. Notes from the Superintendent

Dear Patrons, The month of January is now in the books. The weather turned from very cold in the beginning of the month to a much nicer and bearable temperature, with already missing four days of school, I am hoping the remainder of the winter keeps the snow and ice away. The district will have an early out on Friday, February 17th. This will be used as a professional development activity for our staff.
