Marketplace for Kids (Pix!)

On Wednesday, March 12, twenty-three fifth and sixth graders headed up to Annie’s House to participate in Marketplace for Kids, an entrepreneurial education program that works to encourage youth to explore entrepreneurship and self-employment skills. Here are a few of the students and their innovative projects.

In addition to displaying their projects, students also had the opportunity to attend hands-on classes/activities such as Winter First Aid Tips for Survival, GPS Scavenger Hunt, Dog Sledding, Drill Baby Drill, Ignite the Power of Positive Behavior, Keeping the Bugs Away, and Stars of Hope and a Magic Carpet Ride. Many of our Bottineau high-schoolers volunteered in various capacities to help the day run smoothly. Thanks to all of you, we had a wonderful day!
