Real Deal Scholarship

  • GPA of 2.5 or higher and involvement in three or more extra curricular activities including volunteerism, music, sports, clubs, organizations or other accomplishments

Varsity Tutors Monthly College Scholarship Contest

  • Monthly chance to win $1000


North Central Electric Cooperative (along with Basin Electric) Scholarships

  • 9 scholarships – 1 overall winner $1000 and 8 – $500 scholarships (2 are for students attending DCB,  2 are for students attending the Turtle Mt. Community College, 2 are for any college in ND.) 2 New scholarships this year are $500 scholarships for students enrolling in the electrical line works program at Bismarck State College

  • Dependent children of North Central Electric Cooperative are eligible to apply for these scholarships.

ND Crop Improvement & Seed Association Scholarship

  • 3- $1000 scholarships to the NDSU College of Agriculture

  • applicant and /or guardian must be a member of their respective county Crop (Ag) Improvement Association

  • Deadline in Feb. 15.  Application in file in Mrs. Glasner’s room or at


ND United Foundation Scholarship and grants

  • Scholarships available to NDU members including student and retired, and member dependents.

  • 6 scholarships available – scholarships for students going into different fields of education

Farm Credit Services Scholarship

  • 10 – $1000 scholarships will awarded to high school seniors who plan to attend college in the fall of 2016

  • recipient may be from an actively farming or ranching family OR planning to pursue an agricultural career

SRT College Scholarship Program

  • Customers receiving any service from SRT and their dependents may apply

  • applicant must enroll in a full time undergraduate course of student in the fall of 2016

  • applicant must have GPS of 2.0 or higher

  • Complete application in full at SRT.COM or there are applications in Mrs. Glasners office

  • 4- $1000 Scholarships based on community involvement, school activities, essay response, GPA and overall appearance of application

SRT Technical Scholarship

  • $1500 scholarship to graduating high school senior OR undergraduate student enrolled in a curriculum studying telcommunications or computer technology related field at a technical school, two year college or four year college.

2016 West Dakota Chevy Scholarship Program

  • 6 Scholarships given by West Dakota Chevy Dealers 1- $5000 and 5- $500 scholarships

  • to apply, visit the West Dakota Chevy Dealers on Facebook to access the form and submit 25-500 word essay regarding the applicant’s eligibility, career, community involvement or academic goals.

  • juniors or seniors may apply

Reuben T. Guenthner Scholarship

  • 2- $350 scholarships

  • the applicant must have completed one or more CTE (career & tech ed) courses between 9th and 12th grade

  • Must enroll in a 2-year ND public postsecondary institution

  • Must enroll full time in a CTE program of two years or less

  • complete application at by April 1


Pheasants Forever Scholarship

  • Must be a dependent of a member of Pheasants Forever

  • Must enroll as a full time student in fall of 2016

  • application in Mrs. Glasner’s office

  • Deadline April 15, 2016


Bottineau Education Association Scholarship

  • $750 scholarship to an individual who is pursuing a degree in teacher education.  The scholarship money will be awarded at the beginning of the second semester of your college freshman year.

  • Completed application form, essay and transcript due to Ms. Jostad by April 22


Lake Metigoshe Lions Scholarship

  • $500 to Dakota College at Bottineau for fall 2016

  • Application consists of 3 questions (in file in Mrs. Glasner’s room)

  • Applications due to Mrs. Grosgebauer by May 2, 2016


Alert Magazine Scholarship

  • $500 Scholarship

  • Senior in high school with a 2.5 or higher GPA

  • Write an essay(600-800 words, double spaced) about a personal encounter you or someone you know whas had with drug and/or alcohol abuse.  Discuss how it was dealt with, what you learned from the experience and what was right or wrong(in your opinion) about the way the incident or problem was handled.
