Revised Bottineau Winter Sport Guidelines/Restrictions for Home Games 12/10/20

Yesterday, 12/9, NDHSAA released new guidelines for fan attendance for winter activities.  Below reflects the changes.

Revised Bottineau Winter Sport Guidelines/Restrictions for Home Games 12-10-20:

Masks are required for team personnel at all times during contests except for players participating where the level of exertion makes it difficult to wear them.

All of our games will be played in the High School Gym. We will live stream all basketball games on the NFHS Network.

We’ve had a sponsor step up and pay a fee so that fans do not need a subscription to watch our home games. There are many schools where a subscription is needed to watch. ($10.99/month)

Minimal concessions will be available at the High School.

**  At this time we are classified in the Tier 3 Seating capacity category.  This allows us to have a total of 290 fans in our High School Gymnasium and 100 fans at the Bottineau Community Arena.

**  Region 6 Schools for basketball have decided to allot 75% of the available tickets to the home team and 25% to the visiting team. (218 for BHS – 72 for visitors)

**  For our home hockey games we are allotting 60 tickets for the home team and 40 to the visiting team. At this time there will be no tickets available to students, staff, or community.

** The process to receive tickets for boys and girls basketball will be the same as it was for the football and volleyball during the fall seasons. Team members will receive 2 tickets. BHS students and staff will have the opportunity to pick up tickets the day before each game. The remaining tickets will be available to our community members.

**  Show your ticket to our ticket-takers and pay the $5.00 entrance fee.

Please park on the south side of the school and enter/exit through door #14.

Masks are required for all fans at all times.

Masks are required for all table/sideline personnel during contests.

Social distancing is recommended for family groups while in attendance.

Crowd limitations apply to spectators/audience only. (excludes athletes, coaches, table personnel, officials, administration, and event staff)

**  At this time we are not limiting the number of fans for our JH basketball games. If you plan on staying for the HS games (if there are games after the JH games) you will need a ticket.
