Dear Patrons, Where does the time go? It seems like the school year just started and now November is here. Other than the wind, it has been a pretty nice fall. Hopefully, we experience a nice mild winter. Our fall testing will soon be coming to an end. Grades 3-8 and 11 are currently taking the CTB test. The CTB test is the state assessment used in determining a school’s and district’s Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP)....

The residents of the Bottineau Public School District will be voting on a referendum on Tuesday, November 5 on a new PK-5 School.  This school will be built in a new development on the east side of town by the airport road.  This is a very exciting time for our community.  I would like to take this opportunity to clarify a few items before each of you take time to vote.  Our district’s PK is for special needs students....

In April, I had written a short message stating the district was in the process of creating a Facilities Master Plan. This plan will include long range goals, deferred maintenance, and building options of the Bottineau Public Schools facilities.  JLG Architects out of Minot is helping with this plan.  From our early meetings, six options were created for the district.
