Notes from the Superintendent

Dear Patrons, It is hard to believe that the first quarter came and went, it also looks like winter is knocking on the door and of course another fall has passed where I procrastinated getting things done and am now getting caught up when everything is stiff and cold.  Someday maybe I will learn? I want to remind parents to encourage your students to dress appropriately for the weather, you never can determine when a bus or...

Notes from the Superintendent

Dear Patrons, It is hard to believe that the first quarter of school is already half over, time never seemed to go this fast when I was younger! Hopefully some of you have been in the school and looked at some of the changes that I talked about in the September Newsletter, if not, I encourage you to stop by. The District is in the process of renovating the current Building Trades building, keep an eye open as you drive by, I...

Notes from the Superintendent

Dear Patrons, The 2016-2017 school year is quickly coming to an end. I am not sure where the year went. Each year seems to go by a little faster. I guess this is a sign of age. The 2017-2018 school year will begin on Wednesday, August 23 and Thursday, August 24th with Teacher Inservice. The first day...

Notes from the Superintendent

Dear Patrons, The month of March brought us another storm day. On Tuesday, March 7th, school was not in session. To make up this day the district will be adding an additional half hour onto the day for twelve days. This means our school day will be extended by a half hour from Monday, March 20th to Monday, April 24th. By going this route this takes care of two of our storm makeup days. The school district hired a firm by...

Notes from the Superintendent

Dear Patrons, Where does the time go? February has now come to an end. The month of March brings the start of our spring activity practices. Hopefully, spring weather will now follow and we can put winter in our rearview mirror. The school district will be having an early out on Wednesday, March 15th. The school district will be offering a half day of professional development for our staff. Central School students will be...
