Audio Books:

Reading Rocks December

Some students in grades PreK-6th had the opportunity to participate in the Reading Rocks monthly activity for December. The theme was The Polar Express and students were asked to punch their ticket to the activity. The ticket had 10 reading related activities and students were asked to complete 8 of the activities. The activity consisted of a reader’s theater for The Polar Express performed by some of the BHS Drama Club students. Here are a few pictures from the event:

Read for the Record 2014

Four classrooms at Central School participated in Read for the Record 2014 on Tuesday, October 21. Read for the Record is a contest sponsored by the website wegivebooks.org. Each year a book is selected. The goal is to break the record from the previous year for the MOST people reading the SAME book on the SAME day.
