I HOPE THIS LETTER FINDS EVERYONE FINALLY ENJOYING SOME NICER WEATHER. IT WAS A LONG WINTER AND A COLD SPRING. HOPEFULLY, THE REST OF THE SUMMER WILL BE SUNNY AND WARM. I WANTED TO TAKE THIS OPPORTUNITY TO TOUCH BASE WITH EACH OF YOU ON OUR SCHOOL BUILDING PROJECT. LAST NOVEMBER, THE DISTRICT ASKED THE PATRONS OF THE BOTTINEAU PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT TO VOTE ON AN 18.9 MILLION DOLLAR BOND TO BUILD A PK-5 SCHOOL EAST OF TOWN AND SOME REMODELING OF THE CURRENT 3-12 BUILDING. The residents of the Bottineau Public School District will be voting on a referendum on Tuesday, November 5 on a new PK-5 School.  This school will be built in a new development on the east side of town by the airport road.  This is a very exciting time for our community.  I would like to take this opportunity to clarify a few items before each of you take time to vote.  Our district’s PK is for special needs students.
