Notes from the Superintendent

The first month of 2016 has now come and gone. The weather for the most part has been seasonably warm. Hopefully this trend will continue. Although the weather has been nice, I would like to remind parents to please make sure their children are dressed properly when getting on the bus in the mornings. We still live in North Dakota and the weather can change very quickly. Thank you in advance for your help. I would also like to take this opportunity to discuss after school transportation on our buses for birthday parties. Each of our buses...

It is hard to believe 2015 has come to an end. The month of December brought unseasonably nice temperatures. Hopefully, 2016 will bring the same type of weather. I will be using PARENT LINK to contact you on any school closing or early outs due to the weather. Please make sure to update your profiles on the school website www. bottineau.k12.nd.us to make changes to your profile. I will continue to run any closing or early out on KBTO Radio, KXMC TV (CBS) and KMOT TV (NBC). I also encourage parents to visit with their children about dressing...

2015 is just about in our rear view window. The fall and start of the winter season has been very good weather wise. Hopefully, this will remain true into 2016. Although the weather has been nice, I would like to encourage parents to visit with their children about dressing properly for the bus or even driving to school. This would also include all students involved in extracurricular activity as well. I would like to remind parents to please call ahead of time if your children will not be riding the bus or if the bus will have trouble getting...

Dear Patrons, What happened to the fall? Months of school have come and gone. It has been a very nice fall and hopefully this will continue into the winter months. As we move closer to colder weather and the possibility of snow, please remind your children to dress appropriately. Thank you in advance for your support and help in this matter. The state testing used in determining Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) will be held in the spring of the 2015-2016 school year. This test is for grades 3-8 and 11. This fall, grades 4,8,and 11 will take the...
