Supplemental educational services (SES) are additional instruction programs designed to increase the academic achievement of students in schools that have not met Adequately Yearly Progress (AYP) for three or more years. Reading Rocks December

Some students in grades PreK-6th had the opportunity to participate in the Reading Rocks monthly activity for December. The theme was The Polar Express and students were asked to punch their ticket to the activity. The ticket had 10 reading related activities and students were asked to complete 8 of the activities. The activity consisted of a reader’s theater for The Polar Express performed by some of the BHS Drama Club students. Here are a few pictures from the event:
