We are very excited to have the 1st of 3 author visits on Wednesday, January 29. Ruta Sepetys will be doing a virtual author visit with grades 8-12 from 9:00-10:00 a.m. Students have been reading some of her books leading up to this visit.

Bottineau FFA: Sneak peek of the VIP social. Kids got to meet the Governor.
On January 18, some members of the Bottineau and Newburg FFA traveled to Bismarck to attend and volunteer at the Governor's Ball. They helped with greeting partygoers, working the coat check, and helping with donations for the Great Plains Food Bank. At the end of the program, the ND FFA Foundation was awarded a check for $200,000 to help with program expenses, including scholarships and classroom materials.
Bottineau School will be in session on Monday, January 20th. However, due to the cold temperatures, we will not be running rural buses. Three in-town buses will run before and after school at regular in-town pickup locations. Regular busing will resume on Tuesday, January 21st.

Today's girls basketball game in Hazen has been rescheduled for January 31st game times 4:00, 5:30 and 7:00pm
There will be no school, and no after school activities today, Friday 1/17.
Any rescheduling will be announced at a later date.
School and buses will run 2 hours late today, Friday 1/17.
Breakfast will not be served.
